Course Modules

Emotional Intelligence (EQ)
This module enables participants to understand how emotional intelligence translates into productivity and enhanced academic achievement in a school environment and practically demonstrates how this can be executed in a classroom through a series of hands-on activities.

Multiple Intelligences (I)
Tracing research and theory, this module enables participants to differentiate between Learning Styles and MI. The role of MI in a classroom is analysed using a variety of approaches and through interactive case studies, its effectiveness is traced.

Multiple Intelligences (II)
Participants through this module will develop a series of lesson plans factoring in different MI and determine different learning outcomes based on their research and project work.

Learning Styles
KA EduAssociates traces the transformative learning theory as a discussion point, exploring the similarities and differences between MI and Learning Styles and how these can be factored into a lesson plan across curricula.

Differentiation
The 21st century learner is a well exposed and informed child and requires the teacher facilitator to cope with his/her needs. This customisation is linked to enhanced productivity and efficiency for learner who is motivated to complete tasks. This module traces the scaffolding strategies for teachers in context of planning, delivering and assessment that follows.

Flipped Classroom (I)
This module equips teachers with practical and ready to use strategies when organising learners to collate their individual research and test its application in context, leaving the teacher with more time to attend to the queries and difficulties of their learners, and problem solving as the conceptual understanding sets in.

Flipped Classroom (II)
While Part I traces the theory and the science, Part II focuses on different case studies and creating a perfect flipped classroom model lesson, ready for implementation as a framework across curricula.

Project based learning
Using key life and research skills, project based learning is an ideal strategy for children. How to make it fun, time efficient and productive is the highlight of this module.

Examination Skills
The art of taking an examination efficiently remains not only the responsibility of the learner but also that of the teacher as the responses determine not just acquisition of knowledge and facts but also testing their relevance and applicability. This module traces the framework that teachers can adopt to incorporate various aspects to examination paper setting, line of questioning, answer keys etc.

Assessments (I)
Most educational boards today are adopting a combination of formative and summative assessment formats and this modules traces how a teacher facilitator can use these techniques in context of their existing school structures.

Assessments (II)
An intense and detailed analysis of different formats that exist, how to manage time effectively when plugging these into a school calendar.

Environmental Awareness
The relevance of learning is what modern day educators call life long and result yielding and a large part of all that is exposed to children in school does need to work on environmental awareness given our limited resources and quick depletion of the same. This module focuses on the action component of learning.
